gigabeat f60 error 00000003-pc no detection.... help..

i have a gigabeat f60 60 gb...... while trying to load rockbox into it i made some stupid errors... rockbox dint boot up.... it stopped up after sum time.i formatted my gb wid gbformat and  then tried again and made sum other minor error .. i resetted the player... and tried connecting to my pc.. pc wont recognize it... no chk disk option.... not in dos or bios... no where.... when i switch on my gigabeat... it loads the giga firmware and after some time it stops and it shows a 00000003 error...  the hardisk also has a whirring sound... wad can i do ppl... i tried searching relevant forums.... but not 1 person had a problem wen windows dint recognize the partiton..... how do i bring it back...? even though it may not b able to repair the gigabeat is there a way to make my pc recognize it..... i want to use it as a 60gb hard drive.... can sum1 pl help me out? i asked my pc enginneer and he said it mayb a hardware error..... but i bungled up the software.... how can that screw up my hardware? even if its corrupted the mbr or the first partition thing?

First off, please do not post the same message in multiple boards, and please make use of proper English. These are in the forum guidelines.

As for your problem, follow these instructions on Gigabeat recovery in order to get your Gigabeat back to a working state.

im really sorry... i dint know how to delete the 2nd topic.. i thought it was more relevant to post in the broken players section. .... ill try out and let you know.thanks



EDIT:... i tried everything given in the tutorial... i dismantled my hard drive from my gigabeat.... then i connected my gigabeat to my pc till i got the usb connected sign.then i reconnected my hard drive to my gigabeat.i then got  a message saying toshiba hdd device found.and then nothing.windows explorer dint detect the gigabeat drive.when i disconnected my gigabeat i got a message saying restart your pc for the installed hard drive to work properly.i restarted my pc.but still doesnt detect.when i go device manager and check the "check hardware changes" or any similar options my pc freezes.i tried the same on my friends pc.same events take place.wad can i do now? is it a hardware problem?
