Scrolling is a pain
-Rockstar:
Ever since I download Rockbox 3.0 on my MP3, the scroll has gone made crazy, I haven't dropped it for a while as well. If I were to try and go to a song, it would go down, up, start at the bottom of the list, then the top of the list, and it takes like 5 minutes just to play a song.
It happens on Rockbox and Original firmware.
I contacted Sansa and they said it could be from bad files.
Could it be that I installed Rockbox 3.0 improperly? I used the drag n drop technique. :p
Any help??

Which means you have dropped it?

Which means it isn't a Rockbox issue.

That answer of theirs in this context makes no sense to me. I strongly suspect hardware damage.

Incorrect installation of Rockbox would not cause a problem such as this in both Rockbox and the Original Firmware.
:(

I have a couple sansa e200 and one did this out of the box.
The only way I could get it to work properly was using sansa linux
and altering the scrollwheel speed. This did no fix it in
rockbox or the OF.
I think an option to adjust scroll wheel speed in rockbox would help.

Yes, I have dropped it. :( But like, not for a long while.
They said it was either badfiles or hardware damage.

I'll try that.
Ummm... where's that option? I see scroll things, but that changes how fast text moves...
