(1/2) > >>

iferlive:
Hi everyone, this is my first post, what I'm going to is this: I am a developer but not where to start to create the application for this cell phone: Motorola Z6, if you could guide me to begin with the development of Rockbox for the Motorola Z6.

I need to know is:

What do I need to get started?
What documents should I get?

I'm asking you this because I'm confused whit all the information in the forum  :(

Thank you and thanks for read this thread

P.D. If I'm breaking some rule of the forum please let me know thanks.

I believe this is one of the Linux smartphones I looked at porting rockbox to as an application over the summer.  What you're want to do is look at the previous attempt to port rockbox to these phones (which actually worked pretty well) and see about the development tools for them.

Personally I lost interest in the port because I couldn't find any development tools that weren't based on unlicensed binaries from Motorola.

I didn't look at any of their phones.

I know that Nokia has a program called Nokia Pilot that seeks developers to create programs. Perhaps they might be interested in working with the Rockbox Team
