hi...
a friend recommended using rockbox so i decided to give it a shot,
i have installed rockbox into my sansa e250 and indeed found it pretty cool.
yet, rockbox has too many menus and option which a user like me can't understand, more than that, I'm even afraid to touch anything... so for the next version, i truly recommend to improve user interface in order to make it easier to use and navigate.

that's one, the other thing i wanted to say is that i saw my friend playing GameBoy Roms on his sansa.. and i kinda wanna ask you how he did it?

one more thing... my native language is Hebrew and i tried to turn system language into Hebrew but instead of that, letters disappeared... (already managed to get English back) anyways if you know what should i do, I'd be grateful...
** umm.. also songs titles which are in Hebrew are shown in Gibberish

unfortunately for some languages you need a font that has those characters.

fortunately there is a font with the characters you need... it is: 16-GNU-Unifont

all you need to do is unzip this to the root of you player, and set 16-GNU-Unifont as your font under the theme settings menu.

that should fix the disappearing text problem.

To fix the song titles you may also need to select the correct codepage (see the manual on how to do that)
Using the game boy emulator called rockboy is also covered in the manual.

first, thank you very much for the quick response! 
my recommendation for improvment will be removing around 70% of submenus.
when an ordinary user sees rockbox for the first time, he sees a large menu that contains more and more sub menus that each and everyone of them has more menus.. and thats kinda scary cause he doesn't know what half of them mean and he's afraid to ruin anything...
that's why i'd leave all those advanced setting for proggramers, and just the basic settings such as equalizer for ordinary users.
besides that everything is perfect...

i'll be trying to fix hebrew now... hope i make it

I don't get it.

If you don't know what the menu does, you don't change it. Why is still having it there "bad" if you aren't forced to change it?

And every single "ordinary" user will disagree on which of those options you can remove.

well maybe it is just me.. but i prefer to feel in control, i prefer to know what each and every option on my player can or can't do. and just know that i am able to quickly resolve every problem that may pop up.. but maybe it just me...

anywas... rockbox is awsome and maybe i'm being too picky, my apologize for that

i just wish to warn you....
if you decide to start using themes and while-playing-screens from this site... most of them use their own font(most of which are in the font package i told you to install), but... most of these fonts do not have the characters you need, so you'll probably need to stick with the font i told you. the problem with this is that frist of all every time you apply a theme you'll have to change the font back. also the while-playing-screens are usually set up for the specific font used by the theme it came with, and therefore the while-playing-screens may not look the way their designers intended them to.
