URGENT: PowerBook G4 Installation

Hi, I am an apple ipod mini(first generation) owner and I own a PowerBook G4.  I recently heard about rockbox and wanted to install it on my computer. However, when I installed it, it asked me what application i wanted to open rockbox with and I did not know what to select.  What should I choose.  An email to this question would be greatly preferred. PLEASE EMAIL ME AT NUGIEPOOGIE@GMAIL.COM!

We would prefer answers to stay on the forum so all can benefit.  Also, I do not think it a great idea to broadcast your email address like this - that way spam lies.  Still, your decision.

How are you trying to install it?  What program are you using?  i am assuming you are following the instructions in the manual?

Yeah, i am at the stage in the directions where it says to go to applications---->utilities and then click on the left panel on my ipod's name.  I have no clue what they are referring to when they refer to the dismount icon?

How about making things much, much easier and using Rockbox Utility to install Rockbox on your iPod mini instead?

I did something stupid(Acccidentally).   :'( I dragged the ipod icon out of the left panel on my macintosh hd finder, and i don't know how to get it back.  Anyways, i tried using the rockbox utility and i disconnected my  ipod after ejecting it through my finder.  IT just says " ok to dissconnect"  However, it isn't doing anything.  I don't know what to do.  Also, my ipod says " error" because i installed boatloader.  How can i correct all these issues?  I REALLY want my ipod to actually work lol.

Reboot into Disk Mode and install Rockbox.  Also, you can tell the bootloader to boot the Apple firmware by sliding the hold switch on during boot.
