Sound drops out and high pitch squeel occurs
(1/1)
makaone:
I have an ipod 5.5g , have put the lastest version on .. r18759-081009 , and when i reboot and touch a button , i get a high pitch squeal, all settings are in there default state , and the only way to stop it is to reboot , or go to debug and select the ( view HW info )..
The sueal then stops immediately , then when i select a file via d/base or via a folder , i get no sound , the buttons still work , but the time stands still....
I have to reboot a few times to get it to fire up...... then i gently go to a file and have to listen from the track i pick, because if i try to skip or jump songs it will do its trick again..
Any help greatly appreciated as i love this beast of a prog...
GodEater:
Can you check and see if you "Keyclicks" set to on?
And if it is, turn it off.
pondlife:
Once again, I wonder if I should remove the keyclick on PP targets?
There's a patch at http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/8836 to do this (not the last few patches, look for noppkeyclick.patch). That sorts the code out, but not the manual.
