Hi everyone, been away for a while and find Rockbox 3 is out. Just wanted to know if I can install this version on my Iriver H-140.  I am a bit confused about it. I have the last version and a build from January 2008.

The version 3.0 download page clearly shows your player (http://www.rockbox.org/download/), so yes you can upgrade to it.

this is the bit that confuses me. What is 'the last version?' It can't be 2.5, because that was not released for the iriver units.

So I can just download it and it will install automatically itself?

No, you can use the new RbUtil to automatically install it, or just unzip the build into the root of your player (as you probably did for the Jan 2008 build).
