Radio Your Way LX, or CC Witness. Any chance?

Hi. This project is amazing. Is there perhaps any chance your guys might be considering opens sourcing the Radio Your Way LX or the CC Witness? It's an AM/FM MP3 player. The only MP3 Players with AM Radio built in. The RYW LX is no longer in production, but the CC Witness is effectively an updated version.

These are AMAZING devices. How I would love to use Rockbox on one of these.

This portion of the forum is not for requesting ports. In fact we specifically ask that requests for ports not be made to us in general. Instead, find communities of people who own the player, and encourage them to take up the effort in improving them.

Ports are a lot of work, and honestly depend on a genuine love for the hardware. A person is more likely to be able to gain a knowledge and interest in programming to make something they love better, than to invest in a device they're not particularly interested in and spend a significant amount of time working on it when they've already got devices they're more interested in, and most people currently working on Rockbox already have a piece of hardware, or several, that they're trying to improve.
