Best Mp3tag v2.41 Configuration For Tagging My Songs?

<< < (2/2)

And what effect does it have, e.g. could that affect crossfading? Thanks in advance

Sounds like an incorrect (or maybe missing) VBR header to me. Shouldn't affect crossfading.

@Lear: Strage thing is, when I removed the APE and ID3v1 tags, Mp3tag reports that all my files are actually using the same codec (MPEG III Layer I) and the length seems to be reported correctly... What gives?

Should I use foobar to remove other uneeded tag information like the BPM of a song?

Lear, ok good to know  ;) I thought maybe croosfading would use that length to calculate the process starting point etc.
In order to fix the length anyway I've just seen there is a Rockbox plugin, the PluginVBRFix, I will use it to try and fix my tracks. Thanks a lot!
