SNCViewer Lyric Viewer and Sansa c200 c240 c250?

Strife89:
My solution to lyrics viewing? Make a bunch of .txt files. :D

Seriously, please quit your bickering. As has been stated, Rockbox is a project that several people work on and, generously, is shared with the public. Since it is their project, isn't it only fair that they ultimately decide what goes into it? All this arguing hardly seems justified.

One person (again, as has been stated) took their time to write a patch to support common lyrics formats, but only because s/he knew how to do it and wanted it badly enough to do so. Evidently s/he has not taken the time to update it or fix it.

Trust me, I like being able to read lyrics for the songs (I have a folder with 500+ song lyric files on my Sansa), but not so much that I want poor code to be integrated. If Rockbox crashes frequently because of bad code, then what good is it? I'll take stability over feature-creatures any day. With that said, in its current state, Rockbox is a fabulous balance of both (at least to me).

I want a GSF codec, but I don't know how to do the work. Instead of whining, I'll wait. Maybe one day there will be a GSF codec, but maybe not. I have to live with that, and it's only fair, because this is not my project any more than it is yours. Learn to be happy with what's there, or else (1) do the work or (2) exercise patience.
