No recording gain control on H10
« on: September 30, 2008, 02:35:53 AM »
On my H10 5GB the recording gain control does not work with RB 3.0. Actually the record level meter is stuck on full gain (shows clipping).
As the H10 status page on the wiki doesn't mention this, I'm wondering if I am the only one having this problem.
Thank for your help

Any news on this? Can anyone confirm it's a bug?

I just downloaded 3.0 on my H10 (5GB) and everything seems to work fine.

what input are you using?

Line-in and fmradio have a 12dB range with small steps, microphone just has 0 or 20dB.

None of them shows overload. Only tested gain change on mic, I have no radio in there and I have no line-in cable for it.

I reinstalled today's build and did a full settings reset and now i get a "normal" peak meter in the recording screen using mic in. After the reset gain showed a value of 320 db.
I could then only adjust gain in 20 db steps downwards but not upwards. When reached 0 db I could switch between 0 and 20 db but could not go further up. Is this the normal behaviour?

One more thing: In the recording settings menu in the "source" submenu I only get the "stereo", not the mono option.
