iPod Video 5G with Griffin iTrip
(1/1)
Maik:
Hello,
I would like to know what to do to use my iPod Video 5G (60 GB) with my Griffin iTrip (model number: PAV4026). Rockbox r18656-080927 is installed.
Under the original OS the radio frequency is shown in the LCD display. But when I connect the iTrip under Rockbox the display stays dark.
When I change in settings the "Accessory Power Supply" from "No" to "Yes" the display highlights a little bit but doesn't show the frequency as it does in the origignal OS. So there is no way to tune in a frequency.
Any idea what to do to make it work?
Maik
Chronon:
What version of Rockbox are you using? Normal iPod accessories use Apple's Accessory Protocol. This isn't yet supported in the main branch of Rockbox, but there's some work at implementing this underway. There are even some builds you can try out in the Unsupported Builds section. If you are using one of these builds then you should post problems in the particular topic for those builds.
I hope this helps. :)
Maik:
Thanks for your answer.
I found the section you mentioned: http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=17841.0
and it works.
