Troubles installing e200-manufac-driver

I have an e250r and I've been trying to get the e200-manufac-driver, but it doesn't work. It says that the driver currently installed is already the best driver available for the device, and it doesn't update.

Don't bother please. I won't be getting Rockbox anytime soon. (Curse v2. That was a massive put-down.)

I presume you're following the instructions from here: http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-sansae200/rockbox-buildap3.html#x17-293000C?  If so, read step 5 again, as it should allow you to override that.

Marc: wrong link? Appendix C in the manual doesn't tell anything about e200rpatcher ...

You mean http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200RInstallation? How do you override it?

You can tell windows to manually install a driver and then pick the one you want to use.
