Rockbox on iPhone and iPod Touch

Pretty sure everyone knows that the iphone is hackable.

Also the iphone jailbreak team is notoriously secretive, and haven't released details of how they do it.

While this is true, it doesn't really matter. Rockbox on the Touch or iPhone would be best done as an Application, which can rely on the fact that the device is already jailbroken, without having to worry about how it was done.
However porting to either device would be a pretty enormous amount of work. AFAIK there is no SDL port for iPhone/Touch platform, which means that getting the simulator to work as an application would be a pretty herculean amount of effort.

Yes, that is true. I was just pointing out the jail breaking even if it could help is not public, so even less of a help!
