As we say, repeatedly, New Ports happen when the people who want them work on them.

Please don't post random posts simply saying "It's possible to port to Player X". Any information about a player, such as how to run unsigned code, should be collected and documented in the wiki if it's necessary for a port.

The touch doesn't have the same encrypted firmware problem.  That would be the Classic and Nano that you're thinking of.
