Need help with doom/videos/rockboy
« on: September 25, 2008, 01:49:15 PM »
Hi,

I recently installed rockbox successfully on my Ipod Nano 1gen.
The problem is that I want to have doom, videos and gameboy working on the nano.
I just don't know how to do it.

I have gb files on my computer, so where do I put them, and where do i find/run them in my nano afterwards?
---------------------------------------------
I've installed doom, but I don't have any sound?
---------------------------------
The last question, where do I put the .mpg videofiles?

I suggest that you take a look at the Rockbox Manual, which answers these questions, and then post back here if you have any further questions.

I know that, I've read the manual;

To play a video file, you just select it in the Rockbox FILE BROWSER

To start a game open a ROM file saved as .gb or .gbc in the file
browser.

I assume that the FILE BROWSER is the map called "Files" when I start up my ipod with rockbox?

But I don't know where to put video/gb files when I connect it to the computer, what directory?

I got the sound effects to work at doom, but there is no music?

Anywhere you want, just make sure you have the "Show Files" setting set to show them.

I fixed it myself, but thanks for the help with the, Show Files and all:D

I just wonder if you happen to know any videoconverter who converts to mpg?

I know this is going to sound crazy, but that's also in the manual.
