<Shuffle Songs> in database.
« on: September 24, 2008, 01:15:40 PM »
Hey everyone.

Rockbox developers, 'lemme just say, I love the <Random> script in the database; it's great for me since I have so much music that I've stolen (oops, did I say stolen?  I meant "borrowed!"  ;D) from my friends that I haven't even discovered yet, plus given those days that I just have no idea what to listen to.

I have found, however, that I shuffle my songs allot when I'm in the car, especially with another person.  Could you guys include a <Shuffle Songs> script?  It's pretty basic, excuse me for pointing out the obvious: just make the script generate a dynamic playlist of all songs, shuffle playlist, then of course play the first song.

I've had many ideas, some of which you guys have already addressed, but the simple ideas are the greatest.  Laters!

 :-\
...........Good idea!  ;D
No wonder I thought the "Shuffle Songs" feature on the iPod was a stupid idea.  Next time you guys DO mess with the database however, it could be a nice idea to target "Insert Shuffled" with a database command, since shuffling songs is a common task for many users, especially those iPod users...
(-_-)

...I think I've outdone myself with the smileys.  Kill me now!
