I would say pick any directory that contains a recently transferred file that cannot be seen in Rockbox.  It's a little strange to me that the config.cfg mentions wps, iconset and backdrop without any actual setting.

Without wishing to be patronising, I would have thought it was clear that I would like to see a screendump from your PC file browser (Windows Explorer?) showing the 'new' files on your Sansa (X:\MUSIC\[artist]\[album] etc, where X is the drive letter of your Sansa)...
...and then the same directory as viewed through Rockbox's File Browser) Main Menu > Files > MUSIC > [artist] > [album]).

The aim is to demonstrate that the files are actually on the device (as shown on your PC), but that Rockbox cannot apparently see them (as shown using the File Browser)

meh, I had my friend come over over the weekend to compare out players and my players folders were WAY different. (we both have the same player too.) I ended up just un-installing rockbox then installing it again to finally get it to work. Not sure how my player ended the way it did but now it works :D. Thanks to everyone who responded.

Now should I get a refurbished itouch.... hhmmmmmm
