Doom not showing up in menu.

First off, sorry if this is the wrong place for this but anyway I put all the doom wads mentioned into the correct folder to play doom on my 5g ipod but when I go to the plugins folder it lists games applications and demos, but when I click any of them it shows a little icon in the top right corner but then does nothing does anyone know why its not showing up in the menu?  ???

This little icon is an indicator of media access.

If this indicator stays and nothing happens you probably have a problem with the HD. Maybe corrupted sectors...

If this indicator goes away and nothing happens, please check for existing ".rock" files. In this particular case there should be doom.rock in /.rockbox/rocks/games.

Just a guess, I don't own an iPod.

You didn't say which revision you're using.  Can you try this with the release version and see if you have a problem?
