Broken cable on a power supply of Archos JBR20
« on: September 19, 2008, 06:05:23 AM »
Hello,
Does anybody know how to disassemble this power supply?
There are no screws so there must be tabs which are holding the supply together.
I tried ist to open with a screw driver but it did't move a bit.

thanks

I'm not familiar with that power supply in particular, but I've opened up a few power supplies housed in an enlarged plug (sometimes called wall warts).  If there are no screws, the plastic is probably glued or welded together.  If so, prying apart doesn't work too well.  It's best to saw it apart and then epoxy it back together.
