when plugin is running...
« on: September 16, 2008, 04:54:51 PM »
sometimes i play and listen musik - then if i like to change the volume. What the sh.. i can´t interrupt the game. Do the plugins override all keys?

But why not for players that have a hold function(how much haven´t?) - switch to hold and than two defined keys will change the volume  ???

this will improve the usability, much.

Plugins are free to define their own keymaps, yes.  Some plugins provide for interaction with the playback system (such as Sudoku), others do not.

I think this configuration in particular is unlikely to gain acceptance, as the entire purpose of "hold" is to stop all buttons from having an effect.

On many of the players hold is a hardware function, so it's impossible to do that.
