Recording frequency limited to 22.05 kHz on Sansa e280

I noticed that there's no option for 44.10 kHz on my Sansa e280 in the recording settings (v. r18434-080906). The only choice is 22.05 KHz.

Is this a hardware limitation or is recording at 44.10 just not yet implemented?

Hardware.  I *think* it might be possible hardware wise to go to 32 kHz, but I'm not sure.

I thought the sansa hardware was crap (recording-wise) anyway, giving lots of interference and such...
