Ipod Mini and Itrip
« on: September 16, 2008, 12:36:27 AM »
Just got me Ipod mini G1  a new click wheel after about 2 years and it's all working fine now

Loaded Rockbox on and all is good.( latest Rockbox as of today )

Found the Ipod Accessories matrix here:

http://www.rockbox.org/tw...view/Main/IpodAccessories

The Itrip I have is the     PAV4014  which shows as working.

what do I need to get it working ???

Do I need to add additional software ( like the ipod software to change frequency etc )  ???

Cheesr.

******** Worked it out **********

Download the Itrip software, it'll put a bunch of MP3's into c:\program files\Griffin\itrip.

Move these files to the Ipod, and then play to get the right frequency..........

Appears to work fine ( testing without an actual radio :)   )

Hokay, so when I do all the ITrip play mp3 I seem to get all the correct leds on the itrip, but now  having  tried with a radio, don't get any signal.

Any help out there ??

Cheers.

Try it with the Apple firmware to see if it works there first. It could be a set-up problem, or it may just be broken. Are you sure you are looking for it in the right place on the FM band on the radio?
