Get rid of the "apple" by not turning on the backlight until Rockbox logo appear

Hello,

The title says it all.  Can the "apple" be "removed" by not turning on the backlight until the Rockbox logo appears.  That would mean the scrreen might be dark for a few seconds more and maybe generate a few topics but is it even possible to (program-wise) control the backlight during this part of the boot phase.

No. As long as the apple logo is there, apple code is running. We can't do anything about it.
