As has been said: 3.0 will not have anything new compared to what was in the daily builds when the feature freeze started.

3.0 is new compared to 2.5

A couple of people have said that the Sansa charging code will likely be committed shortly after Rockbox 3.0 is released.

The charging code certainly seems ready. My device is a Sansa c250, but I've applied the patch to my copy of the sources and it works very well.
