I'm very sorry, but these are technical support forums for Rockbox.  If we allowed every slightly connected question, the forums would soon become overrun, and their utility for supporting Rockbox would greatly diminish.

Many many people use Rockbox - there is no way we can help with all their audio or computing problems just because they use Rockbox.

Of course we would like people to use Rockbox if they so desire because we think it is great, but I don't think anyway is really too troubled if you don't.  If you think it is crappy, then that is of course your perogative, and we supply full uninstall instructions.

I could have told you what players I use, but as I neither own a mac or an ipod, it wouldn't have been very useful.  Google is very handy for things like this...

There is also no need to go over the top.  Nobody wants you to be any sort of farmyard animal, we just want to keep these forums useful for their stated aims.
