i have read the faqs but couldnt find....  sometimes when i turn on my ipod... it doesnt load rockbox but it loads the normal ipod firmware.... is there a way to disable it?

Check the Hold switch - Hold ON normally means load the old (Apple) firmware. Hold OFF loads Rockbox
