microSD card...will only play single songs

(1/1)

Sammytheorangutan:
If I use a 2gb microSD card on my e260, Rockbox will only play one song at a time.  (Using the onboard memory, it will play the entire playlist.)  I loaded the microSD card the same way, with the same program (WMP) as the onboard memory.  Will using a different program (i.e. WinAmp?) fix this?  Could this somehow be an issue with the microSD card itself?  Suggestions?

Chronon:
How are you selecting the files?  If you view the current playlist are other tracks listed?

Sammytheorangutan:
If I view the current playlist, the only files/songs that come up are the ones on the onboard memory.  To get to the files on the card, I have to go to "Files", "microSD1", then "music".  This brings up all of the files on the card but they all appear to be in their own separate folders.  Actually, all songs from a single album seem to be in a folder.  For example, I have one folder marked, "3 Doors Down".  In that folder, there are 3 more folders, each corresponding to one of the groups record album titles.  One of those happens to contain 4 songs that WMP had grouped together as being from the same record album.  Hmmm....Maybe I just found my problem.  I'll wipe the card later and try to reinstall the songs using WinAmp.  Maybe this is more of a Windows Media Player issue than an issue with the Sansa.

I'd bet my last pound on it...  :P
