New Theme: Escape Pod Plus (iPod Video)

This theme is a fork of "Escape Pod" by AJ Ashton. It features a modified backdrop and WPS background, an anti-aliased font and a new iconset. This theme requires a build with anti-aliased fonts patch applied. The font used is released under GPL license and the iconset is available under CC-BY. Huge thanks to StefanSaftescu for the iconset.

A variant is available too which uses a normal font and does not require any patches to work. A recent SVN build is required for that.

Just wondering, does the antialiased font really make a difference? especially since the background seems to be already contrasting good enough with a black font?

In my opinion anti-aliased fonts do make a difference, maybe in not that sense. I feel they add an extra touch to a theme, which most themes particularly lack in general. But that's just me... I use anti-aliased fonts which pretty much every theme I have on my player. haha

Is that small box intended to contain album cover?

If yes, why my cover wont load in it?

I would rly have the album cover there

P.S.: how to installa the anti alias patch? im using the theme without anti alias

energie: Read the AlbumArt page in the wiki.

If you want anti-aliased fonts then you need to apply the patch to the source code and build it yourself -- or else find an unsupported build that includes it.

energie: There's a small box in the upper right hand corner of the wiki.  You can type in any Wiki name and press the "go" button and it will take you to the corresponding page.

You may use this utility to extract the artwork. You don't need to change any settings; the default ones will work just fine. Just make sure your files are properly tagged and you're all set.

I wonder why this utility is not mentioned in the wiki as it seems to be the most easiest way to extract embedded art.
