Rockbox Ports are now being developed for various digital audio players!
Some of the labels seem extraneous but others seem necessary, in my opinion. The volume, replaygain and battery labels all provide extra information that is not presented in the widget itself (and that I would not want to lose).
This should well be the default theme.......
Quote from: jvhc on September 05, 2008, 12:13:29 PMThis should well be the default theme.......I'm glad you liked it ... and as much as I might like it too ... it probably shouldn't be the default theme, amongst other things, because it doesn't have a "Rockbox characteristic unique feel"... it has "different goals" than the default themeRegarding the font, it uses helvR14.fnt ... I now realize I forgot to include it in the zip file (corrected by now)... thanks for the feedback!
True, but you also have to port it to all possible screens. I'm not sure how well the widgets will hold up on small monochrome screens.
I think you shouldn't put fonts that are included in the fonts pack into your zip files.
HelvR14 has been renamed to 15-Adobe-Helvetica. You should use the new names from now on.
I would not include fonts that are in Rockbox's font package in a theme zip (actually I took them out of mine). The reason is that if the font changes, e.g. more glyphs are added or bugs fixed then people will install the old version of the font with the theme.
