SanDisk 8GB MP3/MP4 Player Sansa e280 - RB-SDMX4-8192-A70

Hi there,
I'm contemplating purchasing above sansa but specs says it can only handle microSD.  Using rockbox on this will allow it to handle microHCSD, and improve audio quality?  Thanks in advance.

Rockbox does support SDHC.  However, rockbox only runs on V1 Sansas, and not the V2 model.

The only way is to look at the firmware version - 1.xx.xx means v1, 3.xx.xx means v2.  Even if it says "v2" on the back case, it could still be v1.
