How I make fonts?

I saw here that to make font from .ttf I need to convert him to .bdf and then to .fnt.
Someone has a atool to convert ttf to bdf? I found a tool called ttf2bdf but I don't know use it.
And someone tell me here that in the site there a guide to create font. You can give me link?

...which in turn links into the Font Converter Wiki page, containing an application that just does exactly what you want. Drag and drop a .ttf onto the app and bingo!, a Rockbox-compatible font is created...
