New Theme: Electric Bars Of Colour (was: Name my new h300 theme)

I came up with a new theme, but can't find an appropriate name. any ideas? here's two screenshots:

The yellow and orange make me think of fluoro textas (aka highlighters aka fluorescent markers).

The menu kind of annoys me just because it seems the same as the Cabbie menu.  Maybe someone who hasn't already seen Cabbie would feel differently.

yeah, that yellow is cabbie yellow. it ain't easy to find a color that works equally well for the bar - I'm experimenting with purple right now..

not quite. I didn't even know the texta brand up till now. and I won't use a brand's name for my theme.

Given that you are making a 'theme', shouldn't the selector bar thematically reflect the colours used in the WPS screen itself? Unless you deliberately want them all different, I would have made the title bar and progress bar the same or slightly different shades and echoed that same shade back into the menus.

This one's all about the colorful bars (maybe I should just call it "bars"?) and the tension they create...

Yeah I'd forgotten that.  I was reading up on other names for textas on Wikipedia and re-learned that it's a genericized brand name.

I was kind of just throwing the concept of fluorescent markers out there, basically I was thinking *something* to do with that.  I don't know how widespread this is (I don't think I've ever talked about fluorescent markers to anyone outside my family), but in my family we sometimes call them just "fluoros" for short.

I think the US English generic name is "Highlighter"

You could call the theme 'DayGlo', which although I think may have been a Trademark at some distant point in the past has been genericised into meaning anything very brightly coloured.

Whoah! it is still copyright, but their website matches your theme to a tee!

Or 'Day Glow', to avoid any naming copyright problems.

Electro, Electric
Enlightenment

Wow, most of those don't even fit the vibe of the theme.

Not as in "Bag of Crap".
but as in "Bars of Colour".

Just add some purple and red to it and call it The Joker Theme

when I showed the theme with a purple selector bar to a friend he immediately called that shade "joker-purple"

Edit: ok, I've made my decision: I'll call it "Electric Bars Of Colour". Thanks everybody for helping!

Edit2: after long pondering I chose orange for the line selector bar colour. the theme is available now at the wps gallery. enjoy!
