bluebrother:
There is no Ipod classic 30GB. What Ipod do you have?
cool_walking_:
@bluebrother: Apple has started referring (watch at 25 minutes in) to the "normal" (not nano, mini, shuffle, or touch) form-factor as "classic".
@che che: See here to identify which model you have.
You should also re-read the forum guidelines, because "help" is not a descriptive thread title.
bluebrother:
cool_walking_, are you sure he isn't talking about the G6 models? Those are the "Classic", but only come as 80 or 160GB models. They also look slightly different (casing).
cool_walking_:
bluebrother, yes I know about the 6G "Classic", and I do think he probably is talking about the 6G, but I just wanted to tell you about a possible reason for people calling older iPods "Classic". Since he specified that his iPod is 30GB, it's possible he has a 3G, 4G, or 5G, which Apple has started calling the "Classic" form factor.
