theme not working (boombox2.0 on my ihp 120)

I am excited the things this group has done and i was enjoying trying out the different themes but only a few work. what are some things i can check in the actual wps file? why arent the basic backdrop files loading (just goes to default rockbox theme when i select a specific theme)? i looked at the wps and made sure everyhting is pointing to where it's supposed to also that file is within the screen resolution. just frustrating that the file is there to download and it does not work no instructions or anything.

thanx for prompt reply i have read and are still trying to make heads or tail of it. i've checked the wps files that are not working and they have the %pb line in there but still does not work. example below

This appears to be missing the bitmap file name.  If you would like to use the default one, simply put a dash in it's place, like so:

%pb|-|7|27|133|65|

You have to check syntax as well. Look up the tags mentioned in that linked topic and cross-check it with http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/CustomWPS. If it isn't on that CustomWPS page, delete the tag. If it is, make sure it's used in the right syntax.

now we're getting somwhere. it displays wps but something else is not quite right; it looks like the progress bar is overlapping the backdrop screen in som sort of way because half the screen moves across to the right like the progress bar; here is the complete thing i am not sure whatelse to look for: your help is greatlt appreciated

The original one looks more like it is still written in the old progress bar syntax where the numbers had a different meaning, which means that you need to change them too (otherwise you'll get a 65 pixels high progress bar ).
