Sandisk - USB Charging

Hi all, loving Rockbox on my Sansa E280 - I don't know if I'm in the right place to mention it & I'm sure I'm not the only one who's aware but when I plug my player into my Macally FM car transmitter, it charges via the USB cable with no problems. I'm an absolute techno biff, but maybe that info is of use to someone who can fix the problem with charging via USB from the PC.
If I'm the 102015th person to notify you of this I apologies & if that issue has been resolved then I apologies again & I will give myself a stern talking to for not paying more attention!
