Path delimiter causing problems (m3u8)

(1/1)

afruff23:
I create playlists of music files from Rockbox AND while I'm on the PC with my device connected (using winamp 5 specifically). The path names and everything is identical between the 2 playlists (the Rockbox and winamp created one) except for the commented out EXT info (which Rockbox ignores) and the path delimiter ("\" for rockbox playlists and "/" for winamp playlists). Rockbox cannot read the winamp-made playlists (but it can read the Rockbox-made playlists). Is there a way to fix this other than doing a search and replace for every playlist I make in Winamp for "/" to be changed to "\"?

Llorean:
Rockbox shouldn't care about the direction of the path delimiter. Try hand-making a playlist with just a few entries using / instead of \ and see if they work or fail.

bluebrother:
Rockbox writes playlists using the forward slash "/" as path delimiter.
