Thank you for sharing your fix.  I have a slightly different problem than your Sansa.  My problem is described in this thread ==> http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=19298.0

My Sansa e280 does not stop after "Enter the USB2.0 MSD mode".  Therefore, I do not have any chance to reformat the drive or rebuild the firmware.  Your procedure re-creates the hidden partition to the NAND disk.  I think it may be the solution for my situation.  What do you think?  Your opinion will be appreciated.
