e260 freezes when in original firmware mode
(1/1)
Ariczzz:
hi,
when i connect my sansa to the pc i can use it fpr a few seconds and then it just freezes. it´s just empty in windows explorer and when it plug it off again it still shows "connected" so i have to reset it. some minutes ago it just worked fine...now whenever i connect it, it freezes. this first happended after i had put on some album arts, but can this be the reason?
does anyone know how to fix it?
greets

MarcGuay:
This sounds like a problem to bring up with Sandisk and not with Rockbox. Correct me if I'm wrong, though.
Ariczzz:
it happens while i´m using sansa firmware, but i´m sure it has to do with rockbox because i installed rockbox today and never had this problem before.
edit: i noticed that the player only froze when i opened/editet one specific folder. now i deleted that folder and it works..maybe there was a broken file or sth..
i hope the problem is solved know, otherwise i´ll post here again.
Llorean:
"It never happened before I put Rockbox on" doesn't mean anything. Rockbox doesn't have a USB mode, so you're entirely using Sandisk's software.
Also, this isn't an installation problem. If you have the problem again, remove Rockbox and see if it comes back, then contact Sandisk about it.
