fast forward/rewind on Sansa

Thus far I've figured out how to use the Rockbox software on a V1 E260 except for entering the fast forward/reverse mode.

Can someone explain that for me?

On the original if I press the lower button while a MP3 is playing I can enter a mode to fast forward or reverse in the MP3.   

What I'm expecting is a combination of button pushing that will get me into a fast forward mode - as there is a configuration option for that.

Thank you.   I was expecting the spinning wheel to accomplish the action.
