Pre-installation questions

I have a C250 with firmware 01.00.04A.  It is currently almost full with songs.  I also have an unused 2GB microcard.

Do I need to delete the existing songs before installing Rockbox?  Do I need to upgrade the firmware first?  Anything I should watch out for?

We've tried to include everything you need to know/do in the manual already. I'm pretty sure there are no warnings about either of those. :)

If You use the sandisk Updater it will update your dap to 1.01.07 firmware this is not currently supported by Rockbox. See http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaC200Port for more details.
