WEll i dont know if it is bricked exactly but it might as well be. I wont start in msc mode

well you guys are more knowledgeable that the sandisk idiots so i'll ask you:
Well, with those two combinations mentioned above the player will refuse to start, however, it will start in mtp mode. How do I know this? Well, I ran it out of space once before and read the sansa support which recommended updating the firmware, so I did. This reset the player back to mtp mode and it ran fine. Well, me being the retard I am, I never deleted any files since it was working in mtp mode, and my friend needed a micro sd card reader, so I set the player back into msc so it would show the micro sd card as a second drive. Anyway, now its not starting and I can’t update it because it’s up to date. I hope I made sense, I don’t usually make sense when I’m mad.

PS:I was very tempted to change s to d in  Sandisk but heh, I don't want banned.
EDIT:It freezes up when plugged into the computer also.

Llorean:
Problems with the original firmware should be taken up with Sandisk. This forum is for support of the Rockbox alternative firmware, not general MP3 player help requests.

Furthermore, since you've been told this before, I really think you should stop asking.

Perhaps the Sandisk tech support sucks, but you should still ask on Sansa-oriented forums like:

dad00d:
