Can the line out of an ipod 5.5G be equalized?
« on: August 12, 2008, 04:16:05 AM »
I am using an earbud a bit too bassy (yuin PK1) from the line out of my ipod video 30 GB to a mini³ amplifier, and I would like to lower the bass a bit; however, it does not seem to work.  Isa there a way to equalize the line out?.

If you use the parametric equaliser it will affect all outputs, it is applied to the PCM audio beofre being passed to the output hardware.

If you use the bass/treble controls where a player has them they are written to registers in the output hardware which makes the change, and depending on the player that may or may not apply to the headphone only.
