Ipod 4th gen, is RB working properly?
« on: August 11, 2008, 09:48:52 PM »
hello! I have RockBox on my sansa e270, and it is fantastic. absolutely perfect.
So I was pretty happy to inherit a 20gb ipod 4th gen, and try it out. I installed a brand new replacement battery, and it's working fine.

However! Shutting down doesn't seem to happen. When I hold in play, it seems to take a long time to turn off.. several seconds more than I'd like, and when I come back to my car at the end of the day, the battery is dead. Always.

The interface is also sluggish. It makes it difficult to use.

Is this normal for an ipod 4th gen?
