what would be the highest quality format i could get to play on a sansa e260? and as for the GBA so far my sansa runs even the highest quality GBC games perfectly without a glitch. so wouldnt it be able to play even just the lowest quality GBA games, its the overlapping principle for systems; the highest quality for one is the lowest quality for another.

Any of the lossless codecs.  I recommended FLAC.

Maybe, but I doubt it.  Also, that principle really doesn't make any sense.

wraith10219:
the most basic example of that principle is the highest quality xbox games look and run exactly like the first few or lowest quality xbox 360 games. and on a side note where could i get the FLAC codec/plug-in for adobe audition or what program can produce FLAC audio files?

Llorean:
That's an example of *design* principles. Believe it or not those first generation XBox 360 games still had a much higher set of minimum processing requirements than the XBox classic could deliver.

"How they look" does not translate even remotely directly to "what requirements they have."

Zardoz:
I'd use Ableton Live. EAC can rip to FLAC http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/
