I'd modify the icons beside the menu items to better reflect or echo the mustard-tinged 'quarter-note' logo design at its top. Besides, those RGB tints don't suit a plain and simple scheme in my opinion.

EDIT: I thought there were 'copyright' issues in respect of the crotchet as R logo design??

There are - it hasn't proved possible to contact the author to obtain permission to use it, therefore nobody has permission to distribute it.
