Ipod nano latest gen wont load rockbox

Is there something wrong with the newest ipod nano video? Mine is a 4gig and rockbox just wont work with it. I am extracting all of the files correctly and I turn on my ipod and hold menu+middle button and nothing. Any help?

Only the first generation of iPod Nano is supported by Rockbox.  The later devices use different hardware. 

I'm also not sure if anyone has managed to run custom code on the 3rd gen models, due to the encryption used.  So basically, it's unlikely to ever happen.

I assume you're talking about the current build page, but try to be more specific in the future.  "iPod 3rd gen" on the current build page is referring to the "normal" (not Nano) iPods.
