Including an iconset in a theme
(1/1)
karltpb:
I'm planning on releasing a theme under GPL license, which uses BuufNano icon set. As far as I can tell, the icon set is unlicensed (as most icon sets). There's no license included in the zip; same goes with the wiki page.
As they are large in number, I kind of have a feeling that these icon sets maybe GPL'd. Does anybody know anything regarding this?

And whoever modified them and placed them on the wiki is clearly breaking the license terms.

Alright then I'll have to choose between silk and tango then.
Thanks for the clarification.

This license doesn't prohibit derivative works, so I assume that you mean that they broke the attribution and share alike clauses. This should be fixed by including the proper attributions and license information.
