Stuck in USB mode
« on: July 28, 2008, 10:47:10 PM »
I've got a rockbox'd e200R, and whenever I plug it in to a computer without turning it off first or holding select, it gets stuck in USB mode, I have to remove the battery to get it back. How can this be fixed?
It's not a huge problem, but having to go into the original firmware makes it have to refresh the database, which takes quite a while, and I don't like having to turn it off if I just want to quickly change a thing or two

I don't have an e200, so can't speak to the locking up, but I can suggest two things:
1) See the SansaFAQ for disabling the original fw's database refreshing.
2) Immediately below that is what sounds like a solution to your locking up problem (you don't have to remove the battery).
