Database problem
« on: July 26, 2008, 02:14:32 PM »
This question has been asked in another topic but when I went to that section it said it hadn't been posted in for over 120 days so to get an answer it advised me to start a new one.

I stop and start using rockbox every now and again so I reinstalled with the current build from Friday 25th July (can't remember the number sorry). Once I booted up I got the database set up and after rebooting to committ the database I set it up to "auto update". Every time I switch the player back on it comes up with the "Committing Database" and the hard disc is spinning as if it is doing something (I haven't added anything new just so you know). I go to an album within the database and on almost all the albums each song is listed three times. It's like it's adding everything every time I boot the player up. This never happened with earlier build. What am I doing wrong?

Also just one other thing; why do some of the tracks (when I search by album that is) have the track length next to the track and others don't?

PAUL
